Give everyone our thanks!, yesterday we bought a water filter for drinking water and for making milk, people are getting sick from drinking dirty river water. We have 5 babies now so will be getting infant formulah as well. I have attached a letter from anne-Marie.
Might go get a MSR MIOX water treatment thing today for large quantities. Could you pass this on to those who came to the dinner. This is where their money is going.
Thanks,
Dustin

Dear friends,
The storm / hurricane Ike is blowing hard.
Since last night we have rain again, a lot of wind. still no drinking water and a lot of people who are scared to death. We can hear them screaming.
The animals do not know where to hide. A lot of them already died of the rain with Hanna and not being able to get dry again.
The river has more water than with tropical storm Hanna.
As we found out later today a lot of people lost their homes. Roofs are blown away, houses collapsed, school buildings vanished, branches and trees every where. 102 people lost their life in this area during Hanna. We do not know how many died with hurricane Ike.
.
Yesterday a family came with twins: a boy and a girl. Their mother just died the day before. She had difficulties with the delivery. Her placenta did not come out and she bled to death because she couldn’t get to the clinic. The roads are in a terrible condition and the rivers are hardly passable. So this woman leaves behind 8 children. We do not know why this happened but we know that the Lord is in control. They are both admitted and will need baby-formula for the first half year. We have a total of 5 small babies.
More people are getting diarrhea, fever, vomiting. Probably all because of drinking unclean water.
Just now the kitchen of the neighbors (it is a little house) was blown away by Ike. How many others to follow?
It is Sunday today, but the church is empty. All the people stay at home, praying for the hurricane to pass.
Thank you for your prayer,
Rob & Anne-Marie.
